An initial test print of one side of my Oldhammer Monolith.

It didn’t come out perfect, partly because I misjudged the resin volume needed and it ran out … but it’s very exciting to see it in solid form.

I have been slowly working through adding back some old content on the site that had been missing since the last facelift, and have also been spending my weekends dusting off some lapsed projects. As a result, in the shiny new Downloads section, you can now find a bunch of printable cards for 2nd edition Warhammer 40,000 (part of my Oldhammer 40,000 revamp project) and some custom cards for enhancing WotC’s Star Wars Miniatures game.

The Warp Deck is a redesign of the original 2nd Edition deck, just prettied up and printable, as the originals are increasingly difficult to find.
The Psychic Power deck is a revamped compilation of the original Dark Millenium cards, a couple of additions from Citadel Journal, and my Psychic Scream power from my WIP Necron Codex included just for good measure.

On the Star Wars side, I have dusted off and redesigned some old Mission Cards and Random Event Cards that I first put together back when the game was still in full swing. They’re obviously not going to be of interest to as many people these days, now that the game is dead and the miniatures increasingly collectible… but I thought it would be nice to put them back out there on the off-chance that they were of use to someone.
You can find all of these card decks in the Downloads section here.
It’s been a little while since I had time to work on my Necrons, but I have finally finished roughing out the Immortal sculpt. Still needs a little tweaking and some final details (like lots of rivets!) but is just about there.

Working on some aircraft rules for 2nd edition. The only existing rules I could find were the Thunderhawk rules in Citadel Journal, which weren’t great, as they result in not having any need for an actual model unless you land. I wanted something that was distinct from skimmers, without just being an abstract strafing run with no model needed.
So… I wrote some. Here’s a first draft.

I’m slowly working through the Necron armoury, sculpting my own versions of the original weapons, and 2nd ed styled versions of weapons added in later editions.

Still a ways to go, but getting there.
