Since there was no model for Huron Blackheart at the time, I (rather badly) converted one up based on the Blood Angels’ Commander Dante, but was never entirely happy with it and eventually ripped it apart for bitz.

When I updated all of my armies in 2004, I dusted off the Corsairs and rebuilt them using the 13th Company rules from the Eye of Terror codex. Since my original Huron was in various bitz boxes by that point, I built a new one based on Marneus Calgar.



Obviously, he couldn’t have the same profile as the original Huron, so he was fielded as a ‘Wolf Lord’ with a Combi-flamer and single Lightning Claw to represent the bolter and Tyrant’s Claw, and a Belt of Russ and a Runic Charm to represent the Hamadrya’s magical effects.

At some point, I guess I should tweak him a little to reflect the new Codex’s rules, and give him back his power axe…
