Pogo Ork ‘Warbike’ Nob

This guy was my entry in the Auscon ‘Wizards of Oz’ painting competition, in the ‘Scratchbuilt and Converted’ category.

A little more…

A little more arm work on the Sternguard this morning. Finishing off a hand… still needs a thumb:

Getting A-Head

Put the finishing touches on the Sternguards’ head this morning: I’m sending these off to have enough for the squad cast up in resin, to save a bit of work on trying to get a squad of them all looking the same. Updates as I get them :)

Looking Stern…

It’s been far too long between updates on these guys… The end is nigh.

Heavies, forward!

I’ve been intending to update the Marines for a week now, but wound up working longer hours than usual at both of my other jobs, so only just got caught up… I performed an arm swap on the first Heavy Bolter marine, to bring the weapon up into more of a ‘bringing to bear’ pose, [...]

When I updated [...]

Crouching Veteran, Voxxing … er… other Veteran?

I’ve completed basic assembly on the Commtech for the Sternguard squad. The pose is a little rough, as his hand is only tacked on at the moment… I’ll adjust it when I’m ready to glue everything in place and sculpt on the missing detail.

Another one from the cabinet…

Continuing my crusade to get all of my miniatures photographed (and hampered somewhat by a dodgy LCD monitor which leaves me wondering if the colours and contrast of these pics is anywhere approaching what they should look like), here’s the next old miniature dusted off and photographed:

Blast from the past…

Over the years, with software changes and camera upgrades, there are a few bits and pieces that have either come and gone from the gallery, or simply never been added in in the first place. I’m hoping over the next few weeks to work my way through the cabinet and add those missing minis back [...]
