A short while back, I finished off my largest commission job yet, but had promised the buyer that I wouldn’t show it off until after the event that he wanted it for…
Well, that event has come and gone, so I can finally unveil a Special Ops-themed Space Marine army in the Commission Gallery.
This was a hefty project, which included Teleporting Assault Squads, a stripped-down Dreadnought, and retooled Tactical, Devastator, Scout and Terminator squads.
Despite grossly underestimating just how much work was involved in this job, I had a lot of fun putting it together, and have heard from the buyer that it (obviously in its fully painted form) took 2nd place for Best Army at the Liber Animus IV on the weekend.
