Put the finishing touches on the Sternguards’ head this morning:

I’m sending these off to have enough for the squad cast up in resin, to save a bit of work on trying to get a squad of them all looking the same. Updates as I get them :)

Because they Aaaargh!
Finally finished this guy off. He was started several years ago, as a birthday present for my (now) wife, and given to her unpainted so she could decide whether she wanted to paint him herself or not. She went with the ‘or not’ option, and so after a bit of a wait, here he is:

I have just added the fourth of my Dakka Dakka sculpting tutorials to the slowly expanding Tutorials sections.
This time around, it’s Wreaths on the workbench. Used extensively throughout Space Marine Chapters as a badge of courage, or to signify Veteran status, you can use the technique explained here to add wreaths to your Veterans or Honour Guard.
I haven’t decided yet on the next tutorial, but I’m leaning towards another bike conversion…

Another addition to the Tutorials section today: A how to on making flat-backed chains for dressing up armour or vehicle hulls.
This was another of a series of tutorials I did last year for Dakka Dakka. The last one, a tutorial on making Wreath badges, will be going up soon.
Meanwhile, you can find the Chain tutorial in the Tutorials section here.

A short while back, I built a Pre-Heresy Raven Guard Dreadnought as a commission. This build was originally documented on the forums here.
Well, for those who would like to see how it was done without wading through the forum thread, the WIP walkthrough is now also up in the Workshop here.
Meanwhile, for an alternate take on the Pre-Heresy Dreadnought, have a look at Dave Taylor’s blog here for his ‘Dreadnought Rylanor’.

Finally found a few spare minutes to sort out the final pics for a Female Inquisitor conversion that I built on commission a while back…
She was built from a female body blank (from Maidenhead Miniatures) with a fair amount of putty work.
You can find the pictures in the gallery here.
To see how she was put together, check out the WIP thread over on our forums.

I have just added the second of my sculpting tutorials to the website. This one is covering creating your own purity seals for dressing up your Imperial Guard, Space Marines or Inquisitors for Warhammer 40K.
You can find it in the Tutorials section here.

I have just added a new Tutorials section to the website, where I will be adding various modeling-related tutorials as I find time to create them.
First off the rank is a sculpting tutorial I originally published on DakkaDakka: Sculpting skull badges.
You can find the tutorial in the shiny new Tutorials section here.
Stay tuned for more.
