One of the downsides to working with miniatures for a living is that you don’t get as much time to do stuff for yourself…

Just finished the first miniature that I’ve painted in two years: an Orc Shaman from Felix Paniagua’s ‘Avatars of War‘ range. I actually started him (I think) about 3 or 4 months ago, but only just found time on the weekend to finish him off.

Glad I did though… He’s a fantastic miniature and was a joy to paint. He’s a little rough in places, as I was being a bit experimental with techniques. But he’s finished, and that makes happy things happen in my head.
