Under The Couch

Another one for the Infernus gallery that’s been sitting in my painting bundle for a while.

A few years back, Renegade Miniatures gave away a free sample mini to anyone who asked, to introduce new people to their ranges. This was the miniature that I received.

I got a little experimental with the skin tone, but deliberately kept the armour fairly plain, to give him more of a run-of-the-mill footsoldier look.

He’s fairly basic by comparison to a lot of the detail-laden miniatures on the market these days, but the sculpting is beautiful and crisp, and he was a joy to paint. Although to be fair, some of that might just be the excitement of actually painting again…
