Shades of black.......posted 2nd March, 2006

Imperial Assassin A couple more older miniatures added to the Gallery today. First is the original Imperial Assassin, one of my all-time favorite GW models, painted because there's nothign cooler than a high-tech scifi Ninja.

I have also added pics of an Eldar Harlequin, painted back in 2nd edition when I had every intention of building a Harlequin army. This plan was discarded in favour of less insane ideas after I had painted 3 of them. I sold the rest of my Harlequin miniatures, but kept this guy as a momento.

You can find both of these in the newly-added Other 40K Minis section of the 40K Gallery.

30 - Waaagh!!!.......posted 15th February, 2006

Orks Playing Tennis Some time ago, I built a diorama as part of a to use regular household items in a modelling project. The end result was an Orky tennis match which, after I finally got some new pics, can once again be seen in the Diorama and Display section of the Gallery.

Float like a butterfly.......posted 4th February, 2006

GD05 Finally found the time to get some decent photographs of my 2005 Golden Demon entry, and have added them to the Dioramas and Display section of the Gallery.

Over the coming weeks I will hopefully be replacing a lot of the pics that have been missing since the last site reconstruction.

Which way did they go?.......posted 23rd September, 2005

GD05 After some feedback from other entrants, and in the interests of not prematurely prejudicing anyone's entry with dodgy web-pics, I have taken down the GD pics for now.

Golden Demon 2005.......posted 22nd September, 2005

GD05The 2005 Australian Golden Demon kicked off in its new format today, with the first round being held at Games Workshops all around Australia. Having just slapped the finishing touches to my entry (The MkI 'Sparrowhawk' Pattern Sentinel - pictures coming soon) I dropped it in to the Mt Gravatt store, and snapped off a few pics of the other entries while I was there. You can find the ones that turned out more or less visible in the Features section here.

From each store, 3 entries from each category were selected to go through to the regional competition, (quite conveniently also held at Mt Gravatt) on the 5th of October. My sentinel made it through, so I'll be there... which will hopefully mean more pics to come of the other regional qualifiers.

More Movings.......posted 10th August, 2005

Infernus NewsI've decided that it's probably best in the long run to have a little separation between my professional and personal miniatures collections, in order to show each in the proper setting. My rather dodgy head-swaps and 7-coat paint jobs from 10 years ago are, after all, not really representative of the sort of standard that customers should expect from me these days.

With that in mind, I have overhauled my underthecouch.net website, and will now be posting all of my professional miniature work over there. The eBay and Commission galleries have therefore disappeared from Infernus, and are now safely ensconced in their new home, along with all of my current auction listings. The rest of the content here will remain here, and anything new that I do for myself will continue to be posted here, with Under The Couch serving purely as my professional site.

So, to browse the new look Under The Couch, just click here.
