...Madness in Miniature

The Black Knights were an army I painted for a gaming store I worked at. We ran a competition to design a Chapter colour scheme, with the winner's scheme being used for the store's army. This is the end result.

HQ

Commander
		Based on a standard Force Commander model that I found lying around. I replaced the gun hand with a chainsword to emphasise the Chapter's preference for close combat.

Librarian
		Based on a standard Librarian model with the arm from a plastic Missile Launcher Marine.

Command Squad
		Based on a standard Librarian model with the arm from a plastic Missile Launcher Marine.

Troops

Tactical Squad 1
		The first squad I painted for the army. These were actually recycled from old models that were hanging around the store, and so are just a fairly standard Marine squad.

Tactical Squad 2
		By the time I got to this squad I had a slightly clearer image of what I wanted the army to look like, so they used a blend of Chaos and Imperial parts.

Heavy Support

Predator
		The army needed a little fire support, and so I nabbed an old Predator that had been partly painted, broken and left sitting around gathering dust, and repainted it.

The Army

The whole army together. It's a small but fairly well-rounded force, which should serve as a good army for beginners.
